The Society of Construction Law in the UK has long enjoyed considerable success; an Australian society – SOCLA – is now being launched in all the mainland states. The South Australian launch was on 9 June 2009 in Adelaide.

Robert Fenwick Elliott’s involvement continues a long history of association, he has chaired a number of meetings of the Society in London, and both Nicholas Gould and Richard Bailey of Fenwick Elliott LLP are presently on the SCL Council.
